After rainy start, Wauconda Fest basks in the sun Saturday
Rides and games were going strong Saturday as the sun finally showed up for day three of Wauconda Fest.
One of the highlights of the day was kids water fights sponsored by the Wauconda Fire Department.
Music headliners for the day were Second Hand Soul, Suburban Cowboy and ARRA.
The fest continues from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Gina Gonzalez and the Wingmen will take the stage at 5 p.m. followed by Soda at 7:15 p.m.
Sunday will also feature a craft show, a car show, face painting and other activities at Cook Park, 600 N. Main St.
