Skaters Chill Out This Summer at H2O Skating Camp

Whether a beginner or an advanced skater; the summer H2O Figure Skating Camp at the Hoffman Estates Park District's (HE Parks) Triphahn Ice Arena is a cool way to spend hot summer days. Skaters will train on the ice and off the ice to improve skating skills. In addition, skaters will work in the aerobics dance room on ballet and dance techniques.

Two sessions are offered to skaters ages 6-16 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays July 10-26 and July 31-Aug.16 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Each three-week session is $450 for residents and nonresidents. To register, visit an HE Parks facility or register online at heparks.org with program number 232132.

HE Parks offers figure skating lessons year-round starting at age 3 through the United Skates' Figure Skating's Learn to Skate curriculum. Class fees include skate rental if needed, and a membership in the U.S. Learn to Skate.

The park district will offer free ice skating at the Triphahn Center this summer on June 17, July 22 and August 19 from 3-4:30 p.m. Admission and skate rental will be free of charge.

For information about figure skating lessons or free skating sessions please visit heparks.org or contact the park district at (847) 885-7500.
