MPDMA to host Progressive Dinner June 14

The Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association is hosting its first Progressive Dinner in partnership with three fine restaurants in downtown Mount Prospect on Thursday, June 14.

Participants will travel by trolley to the three participating restaurants: Mia's Cantina, Trezeros Kitchen and Tap and Canta Napoli.

"This is a great opportunity to showcase some of the amazing dining options available in Mount Prospect," said Keli McDermott, owner of Canta Napoli and event chairman. "It's three restaurants, three signature drinks and three courses for a night of fun," she said.

For a registration fee of $60 per person, guests will enjoy a signature drink and signature dish at each restaurant location. Seating for the event is limited to 60 people. Guests will be transported around town by trolley in two groups of 30 (at 6 and 6:30 p.m., respectively) as they enjoy a taste of downtown Mount Prospect. Each guest will receive a swag bag featuring goodies from local merchants.

Registration for the event is available at www.mpdowntown.com.

Guests are asked to check in at the Village Green, at the Mount Prospect Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson St. Guests registered for the 6 p.m. seating should arrive at 5:45 p.m.; those registered for the 6:30 p.m. slot should arrive for check in at 6:15 p.m.
