Cary theater groups to put on spring productions

Since February, the Cary Park District's theater groups have been rehearsing for their upcoming spring productions, developing confidence and creativity, and working on memorization and listening skills.

The Children's Theater Company of Cary will host a performance of "Twinderella" at noon Saturday, May 12.

The play is written by Charlie Lovett and will feature 28 actors in second to fifth grades.

The performance is directed by Kelly Forney and Michelle Price.

The Youth Theater Company of Cary will host a performance of "Complaint Department and Lemonade" at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12.

The play is written by Kamron Klitgaard and will feature six actors in sixth through eighth grades.

The performance is directed by Kelly Forney and Michelle Price.

Both performances will be held at The Loft at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2107 Three Oaks Road, Cary.

Tickets are on sale at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road in Cary, for $5 through Friday, May 11.

Tickets also may be purchased at the performance for $6. Children age 2 or younger are admitted in free.
