Long Grove-Kildeer Garden Club - a Plant Sale and More

Be sure to put the Long Grove-Kildeer Garden Club's Plant Sale on your calendar. The Club's annual plant sale, a long-running feature of spring in the Long Grove-Kildeer area, typically sells out.

Our perennial flower stock comes directly from the personal gardens of Club members. The varieties always include common and unusual species. All of them have been garden tested in our area so you can be comfortable knowing they will be a boost to your landscape. As an added attraction, the sale includes a variety of flavorful heirloom tomatoes grown by Club members and ready to be transplanted (weather permitting, of course).

Two added bonuses: the award-winning Reed-Turner Botanical Artists will have their art available, from large size prints to small scale staionary. The sale also features garden décor and garden equipment. Plan on discovering something that will add sparkle to your garden, yard shed, patio or interior.

When: Saturday, May 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..

Where: Reed-Turner Nature Center, 3849 Old McHenry Rd, Long Grove.

The event is inside, so it will be held rain or shine. For more information, contact kathymichas33@gmail.com.
