Vernon Hills queens host blanket making event
The 2017 Vernon Hills queens hosted their yearly blanket making event in November at the Sullivan Center. This years queens, Miss Vernon Hills Brianna Bolotin, Jr. Miss Madisyn Chiarello, Pre-teen Miss Linnea Gutierrez and LittleMiss Leah Cleek sponsored the event and the blankets were donated to Pads of Lake County through St. Mary's of Vernon Church.
Many Lake County queens represented their towns helping to create over a dozen blankets.
