Ansel Brainerd Cook Chapter, NSDAR, and the McHenry VFW Team Up for Spreading Christmas Cheer

In the Spirit of Christmas and good cheer, Ansel Brainerd Cook Chapter DAR members collected goodies to help local Veterans. Several members took the collected goodies and stuffed 200+ Christmas stocking with 25 various items (i.e., toothbrushes, candy, etc) to include a hand written Christmas Card.

The stockings will be disturbed by the McHenry VFW Fox River Post 4600, as part of their 50th Christmas Cheer, to the men and women at the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago on December 10, 2017
