Mt. Prospect Golf Club Earns National Acclaim

The Mt. Prospect Golf Club (MPCG), a facility of the Mt. Prospect Park District ends the 2017 season with recognition from two national publications. In May, Golfweek Magazine selected the course as "One of the Top 15 Best Courses You Can Play in Illinois." In October, Golf Digest named the club as "One of 25 Courses in the United States that offer the most Bang for your Buck!"

Golfweek's annual guide highlights the world's most outstanding public-access golf courses. The Golf Digest distinction came with the following accolade. "Following a $9 million dollar renovation project completed in 2015, this classic design (dating back to 1929) offers public golfers a chance to enjoy old-school design elements like canted fairways and multi-level greens at a heck of a bargain."

"Mt. Prospect Golf Club provides an opportunity for golfers to experience a style of golf design that has only been accessible to the very few and fortunate," said Brett Barcel, MPCG Director of Golf Operations. "This uniquely restored classic golf course is now available to all at a daily fee price. It is without a doubt one of the best golf courses in the state, at any value."

The Mt. Prospect Golf Club is located at 600 See-Gwun in Mt. Prospect. Make tee times online 24/7 at GOLFMTPROSPECT.com or call (847) 259-4200 during course hours to reserve a tee time.
