A beautiful Coopers Hawk I shot the other day in my front yard in Wheaton. I shot these with my Nikon D610 Digital Camera and a 300 mm lens. I was outside shooting some pictures of my grandson playing when I saw the shadow of what looked like a very large bird on the sidewalk. I looked up just in time to fire off about 5 quick shots before it flew out of sight.

I was on a business trip tis past week in New Jersey and had several hours before my flight back to Chicago. I decided a walk on the boardwalk was in order and headed to Ocean Grove, a historic, beautiful beach town. I happened across the vintage bicycle and was glad that I always travel;, even for business, with a camera.

Picture was taken in my backyard, in town residential area. On 9/2/2017 I had just captured a Chipmunk and went in side my home to get car keys. When I came outside I noticed a Cooper's Hawk studying the Chipmunk. We all watched him for about five minutes. I believe he was thinking; "What a Tasty Morsel"
