Job searchers are welcome to attend "LinkedIn 2.0" from 7-8:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 14 in the Rasmussen South Room of the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Presenter Lauren Milligan will explain how LinkedIn is used by employers and recruiters, and will demonstrate ways to make a profile stand out by using all of LinkedIn's tools. Participants will learn how this social network can help with their job search or career, and should bring a laptop if they have one. To register, call (847) 923-3347 or go to www.SchaumburgLibrary.org and click on "Events."

The library regularly offers free programs on social media tools, networking and strategies for successful job searches. See a full listing in the library's Guide, which is mailed to Schaumburg Township residents and available in the library or online at www.SchaumburgLibrary.org.
