DeSitter Tile and Stone Gallery relocating to Glen Ellyn
DeSitter's La Grange Tile and Stone Gallery at 301 W. Hillgrove Ave., La Grange, is relocating to its new and larger showroom - DeSitter Glen Ellyn Tile and Flooring Gallery, 444 Roosevelt Rd., Glen Ellyn.
DeSitter's carpet and flooring showroom at the corner of Hillgrove and Kensington Avenues, La Grange, will continue to serve the surrounding area. A substantial renovation is planned for this facility. DeSitter has operated in LaGrange for 67 years.
The tile store relocation will take place at end of day on Friday, June 16. Customers with ongoing tile projects extending beyond June 16th will experience a smooth transition to the Glen Ellyn showroom. Customers who are considering a tile project will find more products on display, more vignettes and enhanced design assistance in Glen Ellyn.
"With the continuing industry trend and demand for hard surfaces, we increased and improved the space dedicated to hardwood, LVT, tile and stone, at our Glen Ellyn showroom," said Steve DeSitter, co-owner. "This showroom is under one roof, and it's a source of pride for all of us."
"Carpet and rugs, hardwood, luxury vinyl plank and more will be featured in two showrooms: La Grange and Glen Ellyn," said Tom Cunningham, DeSitter co-owner. "At both locations, we will continue the pursuit of excellence by offering outstanding products and unparalleled service."
Along with the growth of tile and hardwood at DeSitter, carpet, rug and runner purchases continue to increase as a result of offering the latest styles in up-to-date showrooms.
The family-owned and operated company goes back three generations. Louis DeSitter founded the company in 1920. Today it is run by grandsons Tom Cunningham and Steve DeSitter.
What has been constant through the generations is a dedication to teamwork and serving everyone with integrity and care.
