Stevenson sweeps: Stevenson got two sweeps in pool play of the Lake County Invite.
The Patriots defeated Grayslake North, 25-8, 25-13 as well as Antioch, 25-14, 25-6.
Against Grayslake North, Matt Cliffer, Ben Kofman and Sudhish Gogula each had 4 kills.
Setter Haddon Kay finished with 11 assists.
Against Antioch, Grant Maleski and Leo Chen had 7 and 6 kills respectively while Will Sorenson had 9 assists and Kay had 8 assists.
Stevenson is now 12-4 on the season.
Mundelein splits: In pool play of the Lake County Invite, Mundelein defeated Grant, 25-15, 25-16 but lost to Lakes, 22-25, 25-27.
Against Grant, Linden Ewing had a team-high 13 kills while Marc Rey added 7 kills.
Ben Arebalo finished with 11 digs and setter Steven Miritello had 18 assists.
Against Lakes, Ewing had 8 kills for Mundelein (7-11). He also had 6 digs, as did Arebalo and Mitchell Zaprzalka. Miritello had 14 assists.
Glenbrook North d. Vernon Hills: Vernon Hills lost in straight sets, 25-14, 25-19.
Derrick Jones and Leo Turner each had 4 kills for the Cougars while setter Jake Fiarito had 12 assists.
