Town Square Series to discuss recent report on public education in Illinois

Sign up for the Town Square Series "Advance Illinois: Every Student Counts - The State We're In 2016-2017" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, in the Crimi Auditorium in the Institute for Collaboration, 1347 Prairie St. in Aurora.

Illinois has set an ambitious target for college completion: 60 percent of working adults will hold a degree or credential by 2025.

Join them as experts examine Advance Illinois' recently released report on public education in Illinois "Every Student Counts: The State We're In 2016-2017."

The discussion will provide an update on student performance from preschool to postsecondary and offer a snapshot as to how Illinois compares nationally in key areas of student success in preparing the future workforce.
