Plenty of treats on Main Street in Wauconda

The village of Wauconda, the Wauconda Park District and local businesses teamed up to present Sunday's Trick or Treat on Main Street.

The event a provided safe and friendly trick-or-treating at the shops and restaurants on Main Street. A costumed Mayor Frank Bart joined the festivities, handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Hayrides, a petting zoo, games, bouncy house, crafts and food added to the fun.

A pumpkin carving and a pet costume contest preceded a Halloween Haunt performance by the Academy of Ballet.
