Post 1231 Ladies Auxiliary to host meat raffle

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post 1231 will host a "Sizzling Summer Meat Raffle" from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the post home, 1101 W. Algonquin Road.

Attendees will have the opportunity to win roasts, kebabs, steaks, bacon, ribs, pub burgers, chops and more varieties of meat for the grilling season. Meats are purchased from Butcher on the Block.

Snacks will be served and drink specials will be available. Proceeds will assist with funding post events and keeping the post open for the benefit of all veterans and their families.
