Police: 4 injured in 5-car pileup in Naperville

A five-car pileup at North Aurora Road and Enterprise Court in Naperville has sent at least four people to the hospital, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 5:30 p.m. Monday, causing officers to block traffic on eastbound North Aurora Road heading toward the crash site just east of the railroad underpass at the border of Naperville and Aurora.

Injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, Sgt. Steve Schindlbeck said.

The crash was the third with injuries in Naperville on Monday, following a fatal one-vehicle crash about 1:45 a.m. at Washington Street near Bauer Road and a two-car head-on crash about 4 p.m. on Book Road between 75th and 83rd streets.
