Chicago Blackhawks reach deals with 3 international prospects

The Chicago Blackhawks have reached agreements with goaltender Lars Johansson, defenseman Michal Kempny and forward Martin Lundberg on one-year contracts, team officials announced Tuesday.

Kempny, a 25-year old native of Hodonin, Czech Republic, had 5 goals and 16 assists through 59 games with the Kontinental Hockey League's Avangard Omsk.

Johansson, a 28-year-old native of Avesta, Sweden, has a 56-27-0 record with 11 shutouts in 93 games over the last three seasons with Frolunda HC in the Swedish Hockey League. In the 2015-16 season, he recorded a 1.74 goals-against average while going 27-6-0.

Lundberg, a 25-year-old native of Skelleftea, Sweden, had 13 goals and 8 assists in 44 games with the SHL's Skelleftea AIK.
