Glen Ellyn Bible Church to host Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack

April 22-24, 2016, hundreds of people from Glen Ellyn and surrounding communities will rally to be a part of the hunger solution through a partnership between Glen Ellyn Bible Church and non-profit Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). 1,280 volunteers will make a difference by packing 272,160 meals with their own two hands in just three days! This event will take place at Glen Ellyn Bible Church-501 Hillside Avenue, Glen Ellyn, IL

Community members can support this MobilePack by making a donation to cover meal costs, or by volunteering to package food at the event. Donations may be given immediately, and volunteer registration is available now. To learn more, visit gebible.org/fmsc or fmsc.org/MobilePack.

About Feed My Starving Children

A Christian non-profit founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children tackles world hunger by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries, where they're used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. Last year, FMSC welcomed more than 1 million volunteers to pack nearly 273 million meals. The Minnesota-based charity spends more than 90% of total donations directly on feeding the hungry and has earned the highest four-star rating from Charity Navigator for 11 consecutive years.
