Cary Physical Therapy adds physical therapist assistant to staff

Marilee Kelly, physical therapist assistant received her accreditation from Oakton Community College. Marilee is certified as an ACE and NASM Personal Trainer and has 27 years of experience.

The physical therapist assistant works closely with a supervising physical therapist to provide quality, evidence-based patient/client care. Once the physical therapist has completed the patient evaluation, the physical therapist designs a plan of care that includes short and long term functional goals. It then is the role of the PTA to assist and carry out the needed intervention that it takes to achieve those goals.

Kelly states, "It is my goal to continue to increase my knowledge base. I am excited to join this family owned private practice and learn more about all of the specialized programs such as Pilates, Osteoporosis Bone Builders, and Aquatic Physical Therapy that sets this clinic apart from others. I believe that the Cary Physical Therapy mission statement says it all. 'Providing powerful, positive changes in peoples' lives.' I'm excited to be part of this team!"
