Voted but denied Constitutional rights

Today I voted and again was denied my constitutional rights.

Why? Because I was not allowed to vote for whom I wanted but was required to take a straight party ballot.

When will Illinois change this procedure? What are the politicians afraid of, that they can no longer control the elections as they currently do with redistricting?

llinois needs open primaries. Will my representative do anything about this or continue to go along with the bosses?
