Would we really elect Trump?

I loved the column by Michael Gerson in the Feb. 22 Daily Herald. Though I am a middle of the roader, I completely agree with what he says.

Finally someone has hit the nail on the head about Donald Trump and the American voter. Would we really elect him for President? What is wrong with us?
