'The Voice U.K.' contestant to perform at Harper
Conor Scott, a singer/songwriter from Belfast - and a popular contestant on "The Voice U.K." - will put on a free concert during an upcoming visit to Harper College.
Scott will perform original music and acoustic covers of popular songs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, on the second floor of the Student Center (Building A) on the college's main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine.
Scott's Facebook page describes his styles as acoustic, indie, rock, alternative and folk. "The Voice U.K." website says, "He's got red hair and plays the guitar - no, it's not Ed Sheeran, but he's just as good."
Harper's Student Activities Board is hosting the performance, which is free and open to the public. Coffee will be available to those in attendance.
