Ecker Center to host 'Gathering Party' for auction donations
Join a "Gathering Donations for Good" party to benefit the Ecker Center for Mental Health from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Elgin home of Cathy and Art Malm. To RSVP and get directions, email kcatlin@eckercenter.org.
At the February event, they will be gathering items to be auctioned at the Ecker Center's "Wishes for Wellness" brunch, set for March 13 at The Haight in Elgin. Bring a gift (valued at least $20) to be entered into the live or silent auction.
By donating airline miles, vacation homes, tickets to sporting events, electronics, and more you can help Ecker and receive a tax deduction in return.
They welcome cash donations as well. If you can't attend but would still like to participate, call Kay Catlin at (847) 695-0484, ext. 1913, to arrange for pickup.
Looking for suggestions? The wish list also includes: home goods, wine or wine baskets, gift cards, toys, games, spa or massage certificates, golf packages, time shares, concert tickets, hotel packages.
