Thanks to all who participated in Believe Project

Since the start of December, a donor working with the Daily Herald has given $100 each day to a person who wanted the money only to help someone else.

We call it the Believe Project and this is the second holiday season we've been able to celebrate some of those with generous spirits who care enough to assist others who are facing a difficult time.

The program is ending for this year, but thanks to our donor, and all of those who participated, the Believe Project once again has reminded us there are plenty of people in need in our communities.

Even more importantly, it has demonstrated the value of kindness - not only during the holidays but throughout the year - and that good deeds, both large and small, are always worth celebrating.
