Shots fired at Glendale Heights house

No injuries were reported when someone fired several shots into an unoccupied house in Glendale Heights, authorities said Tuesday.

Police said the shots were reported around 7:25 p.m. Monday on the 1500 block of Charles Drive.

The gunfire came from outside, police said, and several bullets passed through the front exterior wall.

Witnesses described a dark or black SUV driving from the area. Police say they do not yet have a motive for the shooting.
