Girls volleyball: Dundee-Crown consolation champ at Lake Park
Dundee-Crown won the consolation championship and set a program record for wins in a season Saturday at the Lake Park girls volleyball tournament.
The Chargers went 4-1 for the weekend, losing only to Addison Trail in 3 sets while beating Hersey, Harlem, the Lake Park JV and Conant.
Leading D-C (26-9) for the weekend were Frankie Cavallaro (31 kills, 53 assists, 16 digs, 4 aces), Gina Pagano (18 kills, 29 digs, 7 aces), Emma Brant (18 kills, 13 digs, 5 aces, 9 blocks), Paige Gieske (17 kills, 9 blocks), Ali Buckley (58 assists, 7 aces) and Zoe Sitarz (26 digs, 8 aces).
