That's the argument Keller, 24, is making in recent court filings asking a Kane County judge to dismiss a lawsuit he faces in connection with the alleged attack. Rozner: Blackhawks' desire to win never in question

“The desire to win the Stanley Cup has to come from a place where money isn't a reward and glory isn't an option. It comes from deep down. It comes from the heart. That is why a team has a chance to win three Stanley Cups in six seasons. It's how a team responds to adversity over and over again, constantly trailing in games and series, but never feeling like they don't have a chance to come back and win.” Full column.

Imrem: Blackhawks, NHL need more help from ESPN

“ESPN can be blamed for anything and everything, so let's blame the network for this, too. We're talking about the NBA Finals being more popular than the NHL Final on American television. The games in both series have been compelling. So were the storylines. So were the leading characters. Everything is nearly equal between the two until TV ratings are announced: As usual, basketball far outdraws hockey. If it weren't for the Blackhawks' popularity, locally and nationally, the disparity would be even more pronounced. It's almost as if hockey is Chicago's little secret.” Full column.
