A child was found last night near a forest preserve in Prospect Heights, and the Cook County sheriff's office is asking for help identifying her. Police release photo of vehicle used in shooting

Evanston police have released photos of the vehicle used in a shooting this weekend that injured two men. A Round Lake Beach man and a Waukegan man were shot early Saturday morning while driving through Evanston on their way home from a Chicago nightclub, police said. Full story.

Protest planned in Waukegan teen's shooting death by Zion police

A march and rally protesting the police shooting death of a Waukegan teen in Zion has been scheduled for Saturday, according to a community activist.
