Fine-tune your swing at Royal Melbourne Golf Academy

Opened in 2013, the Royal Melbourne Golf Academy, powered by Catalyst Golf Performance, has given golfers the opportunity to fine tune their swings, even during winter.

The RMGA, the best place to bridge the gap between golf seasons, has set up its Performance Studio right on-site at Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove.

With different offerings at the RMGA, including tour level custom club fitting, private coaching, group supervised practice sessions, on course coaching, junior golf performance, and corporate events, this technology laden facility boast fully integrated Trackman Radar launch monitor, high speed cameras, and 3-D swing analysis.

During the winter the entire operation is moved inside the clubhouse, where lessons, leagues and learning continue.

"Our goal is to bring a great amenity to the members of Royal Melbourne and the surrounding area," says CJ Orton, director of Instruction at Royal Melbourne.

"Effective winter practice can be difficult to find, and we're excited to be in a central location to keep the golfing community in golf shape for the winter."

Lessons, practice and full winter coaching programs at the RMGA Performance Studio can not only keep you swinging, but make you swing it better.

"We can truly cover every aspect of a golfer's game during the summer or winter. Winter is a seriously neglected time and much overlooked piece of the puzzle for most golfers. It is not the time to put the clubs away; it is the time to bring out the best in their game."

Not only does the RMGA cater to members of Royal Melbourne, but also hosts guests who are looking for a place to practice or take lessons during the winter. With the Trackman, golfers can get instant information on their swing and know what is going wrong and exactly how to fix it.
