See 'Anna Bolena' on Schaumburg library trip

Seats are available for the Schaumburg Township District Library's bus trip to see the opera "Anna Bolena" on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

The motor coach will leave at 5 p.m. from the Central Library's parking lot, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. The expected return time is midnight.

The fee for main floor seating and transportation is $96 per person. Purchasing a boxed meal to eat on the bus will cost an additional $9.

Register and pay by visiting the Information Desk on the library's second floor, or calling (847) 923-3347. Credit card payments will be taken over the phone.

"Anna Bolena" is a tour de force drama of a doomed queen who doesn't stand a chance when her husband, Henry VIII, wants her gone. Love, passion outrage and betrayal are all woven into a gripping performance, based on a true story.
