NCH Offers Free Programs for Seniors in December

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (December 3, 2014) - Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is hosting several free programs for adults over age 55 in December at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights. To register for the following programs at the Senior Center, call 847.253.5532. You do not need to be an Arlington Heights resident to attend.

• Thursday, December 4 - Brains and balance - 11 a.m. to noon

• Thursday, December 4 - Oh, my aching neck - noon to 1 p.m.

• Wednesday, December 10 - Healthy cooking demonstration - 9 to 10 a.m.

• Thursday, December 11 - Dealing with darkness: the holiday blues - 10 to 11:30 a.m.

• Monday, December 15 - Ergonomics and body mechanics - 10 to 11 a.m.

• Tuesday, December 16 - How to take your medications - 11 a.m. to noon

• Thursday, December 18 - Motivated to exercise? - 11 a.m. to noon

• Thursday, December 18 - Coumadin - What you need to know - noon to 1 p.m.
