NCH Offers Free Programs for Seniors in November
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (October 30, 2014) - Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is hosting several free programs for adults over age 55 in November at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights.
A special offering, "Healthy Eating for the Holidays," is scheduled at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, in the hospital's Oasis Cafeteria. NCH's registered dietitian Denise Schott will offer tips on how to maintain a healthy diet over the holidays. Come and gather new recipes, discover how to remake family favorites and learn strategies to avoid overeating. A chef will be on hand to demonstrate cooking techniques and will provide "tastes" of soups and appetizers. To register for this free program, call HealthConnection at 847-618-4968.
