Three Northwest suburbs receive HUD grants

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded Community Development Block Grants to Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg and Mount Prospect in the amounts of $251,367, $307,536 and $271,504 respectively.

The program provides funding to state and local governments for various community needs like affordable housing and expanded economic opportunities.
