Motoring at the Museum
Ready…Set…Go
To the third annual Motoring at the Museum!
Car lovers, start your engines and race on over to Motoring at the Museum and Plein Air Art on Sunday, September 21 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum. This event is sure to rev the engines of all those in attendance. From classic automobiles to hot rods, the Arlington Heights Historical Museum is excited to share a variety of vehicles with the community.
Combining two favorite fall special events this year, the Arlington Heights Historical Museum will host Motoring at the Museum car show and Plein Air Art with artists all around the grounds and at the car show painting on easels. The combined event will be held Sunday, September 21, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Raindate is September 28.
All vehicles are welcome: Classics, Muscle Cars, Trucks, Street Rods, and Motorcycles! All makes, models, and years are welcome to participate. Vehicles may enter the commuter at the corner of Fremont and Vail. Prizes will be awarded. Goody bags for all entries. Dash plaques for the first 75 entries.
Vehicle entry fee is $10.00. This fee will support the Arlington Heights Historical Museum and future programs to come. Awards will be given to the rides that stand out above the rest. Trophies will be awarded to vehicles for best paint, wildest wheels, people's choice and more! Come out and see who will drive away with the coveted "Best In Show" prize!
Admission for spectators is free. Entertainment will be provided by a D.J. Whether you are entering your car, or simply a spectator, everyone will be able to enjoy cars, entertainment, art, food, and family.
On September 21, get your motors revving and running to the Arlington Heights Museum's third annual Motoring at the Museum Event.
