Mundelein handles Wheeling

Boys volleyball

Mundelein d. Wheeling: Mundelein got a 25-22, 25-17 sweep over Wheeling thanks in part to 7 kills by Luke Ramer and 5 kills and 4 kills respectively by David Everding and Roman Tkachuk. Everding also had 15 assists.

Stevenson d. Zion-Benton: Timothy Park rolled up 21 digs to help Stevenson get a 25-21, 21-25, 25-19 win over Zion-Benton. Grant Maleski had a team-high 9 kills while Keenan Herman and Eric Chang added 7 kills and 4 kills respectively. Lucas Creevy and Jeffrey Way split up the assists. Creevy had 17 and Way had 13 assists.

Warren d. Buffalo Grove: Arvind Kouta tallied 31 assists in leading Warren to a 25-13, 23-25, 25-18 win over Buffalo Grove. Bryant Holland had 9 kills for the Blue Devils while Jeremy White had 7, Mitch Maan de Kok and Kouta each had 6 kills and Zach Schultz had 5 kills. Kouta, Maan de Kok and Max Bongratz each had 5 blocks.

Deerfield d. Lakes: Despite 9 kills from Richard Galat and 5 kills from Dalton Solbrig, Lakes got swept by Deerfield, 16-25, 23-25. Lakes also got 11 assists from Colton Jewell.
