Conant pulls away from Lake Park

Conant used an 18-point fourth quarter to get some separation against visiting Lake Park in claiming a 55-41 victory Saturday in nonconference boys basketball play.

The Cougars (10-4) were led in scoring by D’Angelo McBride, who made a pair of 3’s on his way to 17 points.

Ryan Blaha contributed 11 points, and Danny Sotos had 9 — all of them at the free throw line after a 9-for-10 showing.

Junior forward Michael Karas led Lake Park with 17 points.
