Schaumburg Park District honors Schaumburg Business Association

The Schaumburg Park District Board of Commissioners at its Nov. 14 meeting recognized the Schaumburg Business Association as an outstanding 50th anniversary partner.

The SBA was recognized for sustaining the economic vitality of the Schaumburg area by advocating for, and connecting the community with local businesses. The Association offers networking groups, education opportunities and business support for companies of all sizes and industries in the local area.

“We're proud to be a member,” said Tony LaFrenere, executive director of the District. “SBA helps connect the business community with recreation and fitness opportunities.”

Schaumburg Park District Park Board meets at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of every month at the Jerry Handlon Administration Building, 235 E. Beech Drive. The District honors an organization each month during its 50th anniversary.
