Murder mystery to take stage at Naperville Central
“The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” opened its three-day run Thursday at Naperville Central High School and continues at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8 and 9, in the auditorium, 440 W. Aurora Ave.
Tickets are $5 and available at the door for the show, which features a cast of 10 student actors and a crew of about 50.
The play’s setting is a mansion with revolving bookcases and secret passageways, where actors have gathered for an audition, unaware a killer is in their midst.
Director Tom Ulbrich said the show features original music and an original dance number. The show also is being judged for inclusion in the Illinois High School Theatre Festival, he said.
