Newcomers Club Volunteers at Warrenville Family Fall Festival

On Friday, October 25, the Newcomers Club of Wheaton, Winfield and Warrenville volunteered in the Spooktacular Craft Room at the annual Warrenville Park District's Family Fall Festival. Children had the choice of coloring pre-folded origami bats, a variety of masks, and Halloween themed coloring sheets. The park district also provided a foam pumpkin craft.

The Newcomers Club has increased their community involvement in the last couple of years. Many members asked for more Community Outreach type activities. As a result, the club now has a Community Outreach team.

The Warrenville Family Fall Festival featured a storyteller, a magician, a costume parade with costume contest, inflatables, carnival games, live entertainment, and a food tent with brats, hot dogs, chips, and drinks.

Around 175 children attended the festival.
