Maine West tops Deerfield

Fernando Becerra and Nelson Herrera each had 1 goal and 1 assist and Christian Ayala scored an unassisted goal to help Maine West past Deerfield 3-1 in Central Suburban North boys soccer action Tuesday.

Maine West improved to 10-4-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the the CSL North.

Meadows 1, Palatine 0: The Mustangs got a second-half goal from Michael D’Acquisto, assisted by David Zarate, to earn a victory over the visiting Pirates in Mid-Suburban League action.
