The event was sponsored by, Cook County Commissioner (15th District) Timothy O. This year's event brought together more than 300 participants for an exciting afternoon which included a variety of free screenings, information from local health vendors and services providers, and raffle prizes. Alexian Brothers Medical Center administered 78 free cholesterol screenings and the Village of Hoffman Estates Health and Human Services Department offered flu shots to 25 participants.
