Streamwood d. West Chicago: Streamwood opened its Upstate Eight River season with a 25-21, 25-23 win behind 11 kills and 4 blocks from Hannah McGlone. Lauren Schiferl added 14 digs for the Sabres while Lexi Engram had 4 kills and 3 blocks.

Hoffman Estates d. Bartlett: Sjalynn Kennedy had 5 kills and 7 digs and Elizabeth Arco added 4 kills but Bartlett slipped to 0-4 for the season with a 18-25, 25-17, 29-27 nonconference loss. Lexi Cazzato added 7 digs for Bartlett.
