Midwestern Welcomes New Speech-Language Pathology Students, Hosts Open House
Midwestern University recently welcomed the inaugural class of 42 Speech-Language Pathology students to its Downers Grove Campus. Students in the program will earn a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and be prepared to address the needs of people with communication and swallowing disorders of any age, from infancy through adulthood.
Prospective students wishing to learn more about this new degree program are invited to attend an open house on either October 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 PM or December 16th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The open house will include an overview of the program, an introduction to the Speech-Language Pathology faculty, information about the admissions process, and a tour of campus. Later this fall, the University will also open Speech-Language Institute as part of the Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic. The Speech-Language Institute will offer quality communication therapy, exceptional service, and the latest technology. Clinical faculty with a wide-range of expertise will partner with graduate students to address the unique needs of children and adults with communication impairment.
