Bloomingdale, Itasca, Roselle libraries join together for On the Same Page program

Bloomingdale Public Library, Itasca Community Library, and Roselle Public Library are once again collaborating on a month-long community reading project. The book chosen for the third annual On the Same Page project is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. There will be special events, book discussions, and workshops that reflect the themes in the book presented at all three libraries during the month of October.

The Night Circus has captured the public's attention with its imaginative and fantastic imagery and intricate plotlines. This is Morgenstern's debut novel, and it spent seven weeks on the New York Times best seller list.

Some highlights of the month-long event include an art display by the Bloomingdale Artists Association of work inspired by the book at Bloomingdale Public Library, a performance by actor William Pack retelling the life of P.T. Barnum at Itasca Community Library, and a concert performed by the Windy City Chamber Musicians at Roselle Public Library.
