Dist. 211 Foundation set to host inaugural 5K run/walk

Registration is open for the District 211 Foundation’s inaugural D211 Fun(d) 5K Run/Walk race. The event will take place at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, at Palatine High School, 1111 N Rohlwing Road. The pre-race fee is $25 and race day registration is $30. Race participants will receive a goody bag with a T-shirt and be invited to a post-race party sponsored by Mariano’s Fresh Market with food and an awards ceremony.
