Clothing giveaway

Elgin, IL -- Calvary Lutheran Church is hosting a clothing giveaway from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., June 15, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 535 N. McLean Blvd. in Elgin.

All community members in need of clothing are invited to pick up, free of charge, clothing from infant to adult sizes. Selection will focus on spring/summer clothing.

“Calvary desires to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all people. Most specifically, that means caring for the soul – forgiveness of sins, salvation. But, Jesus also cares for the body He has made and will raise from the grave on the Last Day, and so we are privileged to be the ‘hands' of Christ in caring for people's bodily need in the ways He has provided us,” Rev. Mark Bestul, Calvary Lutheran Church.
