Maine East Constitution Test

Tuesday, the 30th of April, the American Legion

post 36 of DesPlaines presided over a Constitution test

given to the top 7 students of Maine East. Of all the

students who took the school's test, these were the top

qualifiers to compete for the quiz given by the Legion.

Cash prizes were given to the top three finalists. They

were given the same 10 questions, and graded on accuracy

and presentation. Congratulations to, not only the winners,

but to all that competed. Test givers from left; Jim Garcia,

Jo-Ellen Clawes, Andrea Carmean, Don Meseth, Jim Ryland,

Rich Szparkowski, and Ron Simon. Also Linda Ryland(not shown).

This is one of the many events that shows the American Legion

supports, not only the disabled Veterans, but the Community also.

We would appreciate it, if you would accept this article and photo

for your paper, as you have done many times for us for other

events before. Thank you, Jim Ryland, Sr. Vice Commander post 36.
