Center Stage Educational Theatre and Dance, a children's theatre production company located in Arlington Heights has announced their new "Plays for Patriot's Kids" (PPK) program.

In an effort to give back to the community that supports them they have designated a portion of their seats to present to children and a guest who have a parent or sibling serving in the armed forces.

The program will debut with their upcoming performance of "There's No Business Like Show Business" taking place on May 10 at 7pm at the Faith Luthuran Church located at 431 S. Arington Hts Rd.

The play is a follies show written by Center Stage owner Lin Hendrinkson's daughter, Britny Hendrickson and the students of Center Stage. The story revolves around theatre owners Walter and Maude and their daughter, Ella, who's financially troubled theatre is about to be sold and turned into condos. Their theatre family comes together to produce a spectacular fundraising show to save their beloved theatre home and family. The production will feature music from Chorus Line, Rent, Footloose, Chicago and Newsies....just to name a few.

"We are excited to start this program with this particular production" said Lin Hendrickson,

"It's a story about family and community and how we can all come together to save and protect something special - we're humbled to present this production to these kids who sacrifice time with their family so that we are all safe"
