District 73 candidate forum Tuesday

The rescheduled Hawthorn Elementary District 73 school board candidate forum is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Hawthorn Middle South, 600 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

The forum is hosted by the Hawthorn Education Association. All candidates whose names will appear on the ballot for District 73 have been invited: Ghita Mueller, Sangita Parande, Jeanne Engelkemeir and Louis Gatta.

Three 4-year positions are up for election on April 9. Current board members Tim Shanahan, Julie Weiler and Theresa Calabrese are not seeking re-election.
