Local Soldier receives promotion

CPT. Craig A Giancaterino,a lifelong resident of Elk Grove Village and the son of Don and Helen Giancaterino,was promoted to Major in a ceremony held at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait on 1 April 2013. Craig is a graduate of Queen of the Rosary grade school (1995), the former Driscoll Catholic High School (1999) and Northern Illinois University(2003). Commissioned into

active duty from ROTC, he is a member of the Military Police Corps having served 3 deployments in Iraq and is presently stationed at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait with the Third Army,Patton's Own!
